60% Target≈ 7.2 GB
Estimated AutoBatch≈ 22

Real Ultralytics AutoBatch profiles the model on the user's GPU. The AutoBatch number shown here is only this web calculator's estimate.

Recommendations

  • • Keep the current configuration
  • • Use AutoBatch (batch=-1)

Verify with your real GPU

Pass the selected GPU, YOLO model, image size, dataset images, and epochs directly into the browser GPU tester.

Recommended Command

yolo detect train model=yolo26s.pt data=data.yaml epochs=100 imgsz=640 batch=-1 device=0

The command uses the official checkpoint filename for the selected generation and your current batch setting.

Important: VRAM is an estimate, not an official GPU-specific benchmark

Ultralytics does not publish a fixed VRAM table for every GPU, model, and batch combination. This calculator starts from official Params/FLOPs and estimates model-state and activation memory while accounting for image size, batch size, and generation-specific memory characteristics. Real usage varies with dataset, object count, augmentation, AMP, optimizer, and PyTorch/CUDA versions.

Official Data Scope

Model names, checkpoint filenames, Params, FLOPs, and supported generations are based on Ultralytics documentation. From YOLOv8 onward, the current native support list includes YOLOv8, YOLOv9, YOLOv10, YOLO11, YOLO12, and YOLO26; versions 13–25 are not fabricated.

Note: YOLO13–YOLO25 are not currently listed as natively supported Ultralytics model families, so they are intentionally excluded.

STEPS

How to use

  1. Choose a GPU, YOLO version and model.
  2. Enter your training or inference conditions.
  3. Run the calculator to review estimated VRAM and batch guidance.
